BOSTON (WHDH) – A Revere man accused of brutally murdering his wife, a beloved school teacher in Lynn, was ordered Tuesday held behind bars without bail at his arraignment in Boston’s Suffolk Superior Court.

Andrew MacCormack, 29, pleaded not guilty to a charge of first-degree murder in the death of his wife Vanessa MacCormack, 30. Family members and loved ones packed the courthouse on behalf of Vanessa as prosecutors detailed the motivation behind the alleged killing.

“It followed increasing conflict in the marriage. Externally, to most people, things looked good. They had a nice house, a baby daughter and they both had steady work,” prosecutor Ian Polumbaum said.

Vanessa was found dead on a Saturday afternoon in September inside the couple’s home on Grand View Avenue in Revere. Prosecutors said Vanessa had been strangled, stabbed several times and suffocated with a trash bag.

Bronx woman accused of murdering pregnant friend | Daily Mail …

A Bronx woman is accused of methodically cutting her childhood friend’s throat on her wedding day so she couldn’t scream before cutting her entire uterus out to steal her baby girl before dumping the deflated organ on the bathroom floor.

Angelikque Sutton, 22, was nearly nine months pregnant and on her way to the courthouse to marry Patrick Bradley when she stopped by the Bronx home of her friend, Ashleigh Wade in 2015.

But Wade, who unsuspectingly lured Sutton to the apartment by promising her a gift, had other plans for Sutton, prosecutors said during the opening statements of her first-degree murder trial on Monday.

Wade allegedly cut Sutton’s throat, preventing her to scream before cutting her baby girl from her womb.

‘This was an attack that took place in stages,’ Assistant Bronx DA Meredith Holtzman told the jury during Wade’s trial.

Closing arguments delivered in trial of man accused of murdering neighbor

KALAMAZOO, MI  — Todd Maneke was desparate for crack cocaine and out of options when he went to Alfred Minka’s house in August 2013 in search of money and a car, Kalamazoo County Assistant Prosecutor Steven McLaughlin said.

There, McLaughlin said, Maneke hit Minka on the left side of the head with a hammer, took money out of his wallet and found his car keys. Then, realizing what he had done, he went back and beat Minka several times on the left side of the head, breaking the bones of his skull. Maneke then took Minka’s car to buy crack cocaine before parking the car in Minka’s garage and going back across the street to his home, McLaughlin said.

McLaughlin said Maneke didn’t mean to kill Minka when he first struck him, but then realized what he had done.

“When he hit Minka the first time, his intent was to get money for

Ian Bush guilty of murdering judge, his wife, couple’s neighbour

OTTAWA — Ian Bush has been found guilty of three counts of first-degree murder in the gruesome killings of retired tax court judge Alban Garon, his wife, Raymonde, and their neighbour, Marie-Claire Beniskos.

The verdict was delivered Wednesday in an Ottawa courtroom.

In 2007, the three were beaten and suffocated to death with plastic bags in the Garons Riverside Drive condo.

The 77-year-old former judge, his 73-year-old wife and Beniskos, 78, were found in a pool of blood on the living-room floor the day after the killings by a worried relative. Alban Garon had a plastic bag over his head, and a hangmans noose around his neck.

After linking Bush to the killings in 2015, police searched his home and seized a toolkit for murder, which included duct tape, rubber gloves, a sawed-off rifle, ammunition and plastic bags.

Ottawa police also found a handwritten journal, anchored in the ramblings of a man who wrote that
