Court records reveal details in bloody Webster County homicide

Jessica Gomez, 26, of Fort Dodge, was found killed in a rural area east of Clare in Webster County. Her friend, Mackenzie Lee Knigge, 26, of Clare, a woman originally reported missing with Gomez, has been charged with first degree murder. Phillip Anthony Williams, 25, of Lafayette, Ind., also is charged with murder. Three other people were also arrested with Knigge and Williams in Indiana.

Before investigators found the burned body of a missing Fort Dodge woman or arrested her suspected killers last month, they found a bloody crime scene indicative of homicide, according to newly released court records.

Darke County woman accused of causing husband’s death in ’16 crash

Thirty-three Fairborn City Schools teachers, students and staff are recognized for their work this quarter.

The Fairborn Board of Education recognized the individuals during a ceremony Monday at the Fairborn High School auditorium. The recognition, the district said in a statement, was started by the board “to recognize students and staff who are exemplary members of our school community.”
