Court views video of father pointing out Angel’s alleged killers

Port Elizabeth – A video made of Aaliyah “Angel” Tee’s father Edmund was aired in the Port Elizabeth High Court on Thursday where he is seen pointing out the two men charged with killing his 12-year-old daughter in cold blood.

Warrant Officer Lambertus Blok was tasked to conduct an identity parade and visited a hospital where Edmund had been admitted shortly after the shooting at his family home.

According to the State, Angel was murdered in June last year when gunmen, posing as cops, forced down the back door of the family’s Barberry Street home in Bethelsdorp.

Nealon Redhouse, 18, and Deon Harmse, 24, are charged with murder and the attempted murder of Angel’s mother Candice and father, Edmund, who was wounded in the attack.

The video played in court showed Blom visiting Edmund where he laid injured in a hospital bed.

Blom said he had shown Edmund a total of 18 photographs.

The toxic aftermath of an alleged $8m drug bust

Backyard drug labs are popping up ever more frequently throughout Australian suburbs – but what many people don’t know is the toxic trail they leave behind.

A Current Affair was given an inside look at the police squad that spends its days busting the bad labs in Aussie neighbourhoods.

One bust showed a seemingly normal suburban house – a sprinkler on the lawn, a normal interior.

However, police will allege the ensuite bathroom included a selection of equipment used for drying drugs.

The alleged cook was charged with numerous offences.
Police will allege there were enough precursor chemicals to produce $8 million worth of MDA.

In the spare bedroom, next to a huge Lego collection, police claim they found a similarly designated area.

“They had sufficient laboratory equipment to produce great quantities of MDA,” Detective Inspector Denzil Clark of the Queensland Police Drug Squad said.

He said police would allege there were sufficient precursor chemicals to

‘Living nightmare:’ Hunted by alleged gang killers

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) – When he looked at the bloody crime scene, James Herzog knew this case wasn’t like so many others he’d worked. But he didn’t know it was the beginning of a living nightmare.

Or that it would become one that a growing number of law enforcement officers could relate to.

Roland Smith, 48, and his parents Arvin, 80, and Maxine Smith, 74, were found dead in their rural home on T.W. Bass Road in Jefferson Davis County after neighbors reported hearing gunshots and seeing intruders with flashlights at the home around 12:45 a.m.

Herzog, an investigator with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation at the time of the March 2012 homicides, was called in to investigate.

“It was a horrific, horrific scene. It was overkill,” Herzog said. “It wasn’t just killing someone, it was going beyond that.”

Roland Smith had been in some drug trouble, officials said, so the shootings were believed to

Sheriff’s bloodhound picks up trail of alleged Claremont burglar, but suspect sneaks away

CLAREMONT Claremont police received a little help from a four-legged crime fighter in tracking down a man possibly linked to a home break-in Monday.

Rancho Cucamonga sheriff’s station’s bloodhound Dare was brought in to track a burglar after police determined the person who broke into a Claremont home had cut himself on window glass, according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s statement.

Officers followed the bloody trail for about 2 miles until it disappeared near Garey Avenue and Foothill Boulevard in Pomona, officials said.

Dare and his handler, Deputy Ryan Girard, were requested to assist.

Dare acquired the scent
