4 bodies found in southeast Colorado Springs ruled a murder-suicide

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Colorado Springs police are investigating the death of two adults and two kids. The El Paso County Coroner’s Office stated everyone died from gunshot wounds and that the manner of deaths have been ruled a murder-suicide.

Lt. Howard Black with CSPD says officers were asked to do a welfare check at a home at the El Morro Mobile Estates off El Morro Road Tuesday night.

“Upon arrival what they found was a horrific crime scene. We have one adult male, one adult female and two young children dead at the scene,” Black said.

Black told 11 News there’s no risk to the public, but declined to elaborate.

The Colorado Springs Police Department’s Violent Crimes Section/Homicide Unit also responded to the scene.
